Today is a beautiful day for many reasons:
1.) I've just kicked the jet lag after arriving in Amsterdam for what promises to be a magical summer of gigs, sessions, recording, learning, and exploring. Finally quenching some hardcore wanderlust.
2.) It's 80 degrees and sunny in a city that's usually way too rainy and cool for my mediterranean soul (and hair).
3.) It's my 24th birthday! Shaping up to be the best one yet :-) Though to be honest this whole week has felt like one long birthday thanks to generous friends and generous music.
4.) I'm prepping for my first of many Dutch gigs this Sunday @ Café Spargo. I'll be accompanied by a great guitar player from Curaçao, Jean-Jacques. We play from 16:00-19:00! See you there Amsterdammers!
